Rebuilding Education in Haiti Fundraiser
The 7.0-magnitude earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12...
- destroyed as many as 5,000 schools
- left as many as 2.9 million children with no access to their right to education throughout the country
40% of Haitians are under the age of 14. Efforts have intensified to protect children from human trafficking in post-earthquake Haiti. The goal is to get children back to school as soon as possible, and provide education for those who weren't attending school before the earthquake but now "want to fix their country".
