So it appears that the anticipation of sleeping in a tent, going days without a hot shower and using a port-a-potty is not enough to dissuade me from doing the Friends for Life Bike Rally for a second year. The truth of the matter is, despite all of the above, along with early morning training rides and being on a bike 5 hours a day for six days, I could not imagine not doing the bike rally again. It was an incredible experience last year, and I look forward to taking all that I learned from my first ride to make this year an even greater adventure. I want to thank everyone for their generosity in supporting the Toronto People with AIDS Foundation (PWA). Among other things, the PWA offers food and support to the men, women and children in this city living with HIV. Any donation that can be made to this very important cause is greatly appreciated.
