The Most Meaningful Gift Possible

It’s my birthday on September 8th!

In my 32 years I’ve had every opportunity to realize my dreams.

Regrettably, millions of others are not as fortunate as I.

So, for my 32nd birthday, I’m asking friends, family and supporters to donate $32 to jhr (Journalists for Human Rights).

Why? Because every dollar you donate will improve the odds that a child growing up in Africa will have the same opportunities to realize his or her dreams as I’ve had.

There’s no better gift to give.

I’ve poured my heart and soul into jhr for the last seven years because of the impact jhr is making in the daily lives of people. Men have stopped beating their wives after listening to a jhr produced radio show; companies have stopped leaking dangerous chemicals into local water sources; starving villages have gained access to new food supply lines.
