With your help THE850Race wants to raise $1Million in support of HealthyKids International’s Global Child Health Program (GCHP), a SickKids initiative designed to improve children’s health in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Over 10 million children die annually before reaching the age of five. Without more health professionals trained in the specialized care for children, the U.N.’s global agenda to reduce child mortality will not be achieved.

Through GCHP, HealthyKids International supports the U.N. agenda by creating collaborative and sustainable programs based in our partner countries of Ethiopia, Ghana and Tanzania. These initiatives enhance paediatric health worker training, promote leadership in child health, and strengthen capacity of health care programs within these countries.

Ghana – Paediatric Nursing Program
Tanzania – Primary Health Care to Improve Child Health
