On June 1 2009, Chris Greig, a 22 year old recent university graduate, biked solo and unsupported from Vancouver to St. John's. He finished on July 16, 46 days later, having travelled 7486kms. The trip was in memory of his friend, Michael Webster, who passed away from cancer in 2004. Michael was treated at SickKids and all donations are going to the cancer unit at SickKids, which is responsible for the treatment and care of cancer patients.
