Angela's Angels
11 years ago on February 19th 1998, my cousin Angela Lalonde passed away after a long battle with Leukemia cancer. Although I was extremely young at the time of her passing, she has always been an inspiration for me, as I have never witnessed anyone fight so hard to be in this world. In her memory, I am going to cut off a minimum of 10 inches of my hair which I will donate to Angel Hair for Kids to be made into a wig for another child with cancer. Angela remains a guardian angel for all of those who love and remember her, and I wish to create a group of "earthly angels" for the children who are fighting for their lives like she did in SickKids, where she spent her last years. We will always remember Angela.
