UPDATE AFTER THE RACE
I have completed my 24 hour race. While I didn't achieve 200 km I did put 188.6 km behind me, which was further than any other male competitor. That means that I am now the Canadian Men's 24 Hr Champion. As well, funds continue to come in and are still welcome. I have included a mid race photo. Thanks for your help and interest.
Greetings Fellow Warriors in the Fight Against Cancer,
The Terry Fox Foundation continues to enable research to aid the goal of cancer freedom. While actual and promising advances have and are being made, there is still lots to do to alleviate the pain and suffering for folks and their families impacted by cancer. Being blessed with good health and ability, I will make a major effort as my personal commitment when I compete in Ottawa during the Canadian Championship on 28/29 Sep 13. Although I will run for 24 hours (planning to cover 200 km) I need your support in raising funds. Please consider giving as together we make a difference. You can see that I may be getting older, but no less determined to support the Terry Fox Run. Thank you for your contribution!
