My name is Chad Gibbons I am 34 and celebrating my 10th year of a successful kidney transplant.

I fell ill in 2000 and spent the next two years on peritoneal dialysis and then hemo dialysis. In August of 2002, I received the greatest gift anyone could ever give - the gift of life. I got my kidney transplant August 17th, 2002. Since then there have been some bumps in the road, but nothing I haven’t been able to handle with my family by my side and the wonderful doctors and nurses at London Health Sciences Centre University Hospital.

To celebrate my 10th Anniversary we are hosting the inaugural Chaddy Boom’s Kidney Party on September 2, 2012 with hopes of raising money for the Transplant Unit at London Health Sciences Centre University Hospital. Please help us in reaching our goal of $1000 by making a donation today!
