Please support Easter Seals Camp Horizon! On Saturday, July 21, 2012, I will be taking on a challenge that will make a big difference in the lives of some very special kids.

Starting at 5:00am registration opens and I will be biking and hiking 37kms round trip to the summit of the Banded Peak Mountain in Kananaskis Country, in support of Easter Seals Camp Horizon.

Charitable Receipts will automatically be issued for donations of $20 or more.

Easter Seals Camp Horizon is the only facility in Alberta that offers specialized outdoor programming for kids with disabilities and special needs such as diabetes, cerebral palsy, kidney impairments, ostomies, and developmental disabilities. At camp, kids have the chance to overcome the challenges of their medical condition and just be kids again.

Since 2001, the Banded Peak Challenge has raised over $391,000 for Easter Seals Camp Horizon giving over 700 children with special needs the unique opportunity to attend a life changing week at Camp.
