If you are visiting this page, you’ve probably already heard of TEAM ZACH ATTACK. We are a group of people that have been touched by 5 year old Zach Pickard. Zach was diagnosed with Progeria when he was 11 months old. Progeria is an accelerated aging syndrome that causes children to age 6 - 8 times faster than normal. Children with Progeria die of heart disease at an average age of 13 years. Zach is currently doing well! He enjoys playing games on an IPhone, playing ball, watching movies and going to school with his friends! He is a very active and happy boy. WE WANT HIM TO STAY THIS WAY.
Zach is currently enrolled in a drug trial funded by the Progeria Research Foundation (PRF). PRF is gearing up for a brand new drug trial in which a new medication will be added, and more children will be enrolled. DRUG TRIALS COST A LOT OF MONEY, so now more than ever we need your help! After Zach was diagnosed, we founded the KY Chapter of PRF. Our goal is simple...to help PRF find successful treatments and a cure for Progeria!
