Easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Register online and set up your personal page. Post photos, videos, and updates to share your involvement with everyone.
2. Request donations from everyone you know (family, friends, co-workers, etc.) using our online tools and templates.
3. Research fun and innovative ways of getting people involved and making everyone an active part of your team.

Top 10 Fundraising Tips

1. Set a fundraising goal!
2. Brainstorm a list of different people and groups you can approach. Remember to think outside the box!
3. Plan your "ask". Are you going to do it over the phone? Through email or Facebook? Over a coffee?
4. Donate generously to yourself to set the bar high for everyone who follows.
5. Use your smart phone to ask for direct donations anytime, anywhere.
6. Ask your employer if they will match your donations, or make a personal donation.
7. Put the link to your fundraising page into your e-signature - let people know you are raising funds for the Father’s Day Walk/Run.
8. Follow up after your initial ask. People have busy schedules and might need gentle reminders.
9. Use your online tools: spread your involvement using social media apps, and personalize and update your profile as you receive donations.
10. Thank your donors! They deserve it.
