This Father's Day (Sunday, June 20, 2010) I will be taking part in the Safeway Father’s Day Walk/Run in support of prostate cancer research. A lot of us have been touched by this in one way or another. My grandfather is currently undergoing treatment, and I thought it would be a great opportunity to support him, especially since it is Father's Day!

I had no idea until I signed up for this event, but prostate cancer is the number one cancer threat to Canadian men. One in every seven men will be diagnosed with the disease in his lifetime and this is expected to rise to 1 in 4 within a decade.
