Racing to Save Lives

Hey gang! Mike McGuire from CISN Country 103.9 here! Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

Believe it or not, I am training to participate in the Seattle Rock & Roll Half-Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada’s Team In Training!

What a difference a few months makes! I've gone from being the guy that can barely do a lap at Hawrelak Park to the guy that just did his first 8K Run in Vancouver! The big run is still to come though... My team and coaches are awesome, and are doing their best to get me whipped into shape before June 26!

I'm doing my part here, now I need you to step up and help out - don't worry, no running involved ;-)

All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I’m completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
