Help me bring water to 15,000 peopleI'm a big fan of Unicef and the work that they do around the world. Every year they are one of the charities that our family donates to. Normally we try to do something that can really have an impact.
This year, I want to take a different approach and raise $20,000 which can purchase a water purification unit used to provide drinking water for about 15,000 residents or displaced populations in cases of emergency.
Sounds like a lot of money, but it really isn't. On Twitter there are 403 people who follow me (and 516 others I follow). On Facebook I have 196 friends. While there is some overlap, if all of us donate at least $20 each, we can fund this.
