Hello Friends, As many of you already know, this year I am joining the BRIGHT Run to raise money for breast cancer research. For my birthday, instead of presents, I asked my friends to donate to the BRIGHT Run. My friends and their families donated $240, plus we had a great time at Battlefield House Museum. On May 23rd and 24th my friends and I opened a food and drink stand at my friends Kaillie and Mackenzie's house and we raised $100 in two days. The lemonade stand on May 30th at my friend Sarah's house on Tweedsmuir Ave in Dundas raised $140 - what a generous community! A special thank you to Sarah and her family and Sarah's mom, Mrs. Dowsley who donated even though she couldn't make it out and to my friend Mary for stopping by and for her donation earlier in the week. Thank you everyone for your support - I have reached my goal of $500 and I am raising it to $1000. I will keep you posted as I raise more money towards my goal. I hope you can support me too.
