Hello All - Welcome to my Team In Training home page. I am training to participate in a 1/2 Marathon Run in Alaska this upcoming June in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. As many of you know my good friend Carolyn was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in November 2006. After her first treatment of chemotherapy, she went into remission for only one year. The Leukemia relapsed in April 2008 and I'm sad to say that she unfortunately passed away in April 2009. I am doing this run in honour of her and others who are battling with blood Cancer.
