Running to Save Lives!

I am training to participate in the San Diego (full) Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada's "Team In Training".

All the fine folks in "Team In Training" are raising funds to help detect and prevent leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

I'm completing this event in honour of all the people who are battling, or have battled, blood cancers, in particular my grandmother Lena (a lymphoma survivor), my grandfather Bill (who died of Lymphoma) and my cousin Janice (who lost her battle with leukemia at the age of 28).
