BIRTHDAY DRIVE FOR ATHLETES

My name is Ali Lee and I am a member of the Women's National Field Hockey team. I am from Victoria, BC. I am a recent recipient of the CAN FUND bursary and wanted to ask for your help this year! My 24th birthday is coming up on January 19th and this year I am asking all my friends, supporters and family to donate to the CAN FUND instead of the usual birthday traditions. On January 7th, I underwent arthroscopic shoulder repair for a torn labrum and will be spending 4-6 months in recovery. During my recovery I want to do what I can to raise awareness and support for Canadian athletes of all sports. Supporting the Canadian Athletes Now Fund is the BEST way you can help. I am asking for a $5, $10 or $15 donation and for you to spread this around so we can raise more money for CAN FUND so athletes like me can compete for Canada at the Olympics without any worries!
