Hike for Hospice Palliative Care 2009 fundraising website is now closed and will re-open February 1, 2010!!

Participation and enthusiasm was at its highest rate ever for Hike for Hospice Palliative Care, as were the funds raised.  Over $1 million dollars were raised at 97 different Hike sites throughout Canada. Thanks to the generous support of founding sponsor The GlaxoSmithKline Foundation as well as Bayshore Home Health and Wyeth, all proceeds remain in the local Hike site community.

With over 50 hike site locations from across Canada using the on-line fundraising website the funds raised on-line tripled from 2008. This year there was over $300.000 raised with the on-line fundraising system.
