Dear friends, colleagues and family: As many of you know, the brother of one of my son Aaron’s best friends recently took his own life in his dorm room at Queen's. Jack Windeler was 18 years old. He had no history of depression or mental illness, showed no obvious signs of trouble, and reached out to no one before taking this heartbreaking step. In a note, he asked his family to help other kids overwhelmed by feelings of hopelessness who don't know where to turn. To honour Jack's memory and to raise awareness for this difficult and pressing issue, my family will be joining TEAM JACK for the KIDS HELP PHONE WALK on May 2nd. My personal goal is to raise $2500.
