My Team Message
Matched for over five years, Jay and Hugh are often seen goofing around and dissolving into uncontrollable laughter together. Since Jay became part of Hugh's life, Hugh’s mother Ellen has noticed Hugh becoming more confident, patient and independent.

"Jay is strong and steady like an anchor. He's also a huge cheerleader for Hugh," Ellen explains. “He's become like family and my greatest hope is to have him stay connected with Hugh for years to come."

With a friendship like theirs, there’s no doubt about it. Jay and Hugh encompass what the Big Brothers program is all about.

Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver matches children like Hugh with positive adult role models. All proceeds from The 2012 Scotiabank Bowl for Big Brothers Classic, Presented by Mr. Lube will help get Big Brothers one step closer to their goal of helping 1,051 kids this year.
