The National Hemophilia Foundation is pleased to announce the success of its 2009 walk initiative, its second year running the program. The walks attracted 6,000 walkers representing 400 teams.  As of 12/09 more than $1,235,000 was raised for the 2009 Hemophilia Walk through national sponsorships, local business support and individual donations.

NHF’s Hemophilia Walk is a nationwide event that raises funds and awareness of hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. Participants raise money for crucial research, advocacy and education by joining together in a fun and festive event.
