This team was created in loving memory of Aaron Zev Kushner. When he passed away in 1977, there was no foundation and no hope for a treatment or cure. Because of the miraculous work of The Progeria Research Foundation, today we can all join the fight to save the lives of these children.

Progeria is a rare, fatal disease of accelerated aging in children, who die of heart disease at an average age of 13 years. Your support is needed now more than ever. We are making progress, but there is a continuous need to fund our treatment trials, and research. There are 89 children diagnosed with Progeria worldwide and we’re working hard to find the other kids out there. We’ve doubled our research budget to bring in more high-level experts and get more studies going. And we are planning the biggest, most expensive clinical drug trial yet. Studying Progeria may also provide insight into diseases of the ageing population in general such as heart disease.
