My Team Message
In February 2007, having read about the recent puppy mill seizures, Alex and I decided to visit the SPCA "just to look". Well if any of you have ever done that, you'll know it is impossible. Immediately upon entering, we saw Sasha. She was a scared little thing following one of the volunteers around. Right away we knew, even though we live in a small appartment and already had a cat and dog, we needed to take her home. The next morning, we brought Coco George to meet Sasha, to make sure they would get along. They definitely got along! 2 months later they are the best of friends and we have seen Sasha go from a scared, timid, and untrusting dog to one who loves everyone she encounters so much! Sasha was surrendered to the SPCA by her previous owner because the owner got pregnant and decided she no longer wanted Sasha. Without the help of the SPCA who knows what would have happened to Sasha. The SPCA does amazing things for animals in Quebec, from taking in abandoned/lost animals and helping them find their owners or new homes to working tirelessly in the fight against animal cruelty and puppy mills. We all thank you in your support in this amazing cause and we are proud to be able to help the SPCA. Thank you all so much! And Sasha is on the left and Coco George is on the right!
