Dear Friends and Family,

As some of you may or may not know, Mike and I have been members of wonderful fitness club called Fitness United for just over a year now. In that time we've met some great people and were introduced to trail running. Those two things now come together!!!

We met a wonderful little girl named Vanessa whose parents are also club members. She is Danica's age and has a blood disorder requiring regular blood transfusions. When the club decided to start a fundraising team to help, how could we not participate?! We are sooooo fortunate to have three beautiful healthy children that we must do something to help those not so fortunate. Vanessa is a beautiful and vibrant little girl but she needs a cure! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Canada®’s mission is to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Our mission is to do our part in raising funds to help them!

On June 28th, Mike and I will be running an 11KM Trail at the St-Donat UltimateXc. Danica, Marc & Tristan also hope to run the 1KM Defi de Mia on the same day. We are already training with Race Prep classes at the gym and soon the outdoor Rigaud runs will begin to get us ready for race day. PLEASE HELP US reach and hopefully exceed our $1000 goal! EVERY LITTLE BIT helps!!!
