My Message
Thank you for supporting this year’s ONEpossible™ campaign, a time when people, ONE at a time, make the hope of a cure for Progeria POSSIBLE.

We found out that my son, Brennen Michael Maddox, had Progeria when he was just 11 months old. After many months of testing, we were happy to finally know what was going on but devestated when we heard what the outcome of this rare disease was. Despite the effects the disease has already taken on Brennen, he is such a happy, loving, intelligent, and extremely funny little boy. He loves trains, fixing things and fire trucks and says one day he wants to be a fire man. He never lets anything get him down and reminds me every day to cherish the people I have and always look on the positive side. Please help us work towards finding a cure for Brennen and the many other kids with Progeria. Every donation counts, no matter how big or small!

Progeria is a rare, fatal disease of accelerated aging in children, who die of heart disease at an average age of 13 years. Your support is needed now more than ever - We have identified 90 children with Progeria worldwide and we’re working hard to find the other kids out there. We’ve doubled our research budget to bring in more high-level experts and get more studies going. And we are planning the biggest, most expensive clinical drug trial yet. We’re making so much progress, but need more funds to reach that ultimate goal of a cure.

No amount is too small: Our goal of a cure starts with one –YOU. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
