Another year, another Marathon! (or 5k of a Marathon, but lets not split hairs here)
As update for those who keep track, this will be the 5th Year I have participated and organized RIM teams to run in the Toronto Marathon in support of Team Diabetes.
A little bit of math on this:
Training for these runs over the last 4 years I have logged nearly 300km in running (burning nearly 50000 calories in the process), gone through 4 pairs of shoes, and as a group we have raised $54617.00. And as always, thats thanks to your support.
And, also for those who keep track, for all the excercise, I'm still about 40lbs too heavy, smoke too much, and have now crossed the 40 year barrier.
I think as the challeng increases for me to get trained and run this thing, shouldn't the sponsorship increase in kind??
So you know why I got you to this page. Not going to be subtle. Need money.
I commit that for your sponsorship you will get my promise to run every inch of the 5k leg I take, and to reward you with not even close to professional photo's of the race day fun.
Once again thanks for your support, and believe me when I say that I appreciate it.
