As most of you know my daughter, Brooke, has Type 1 Diabetes. She was diagnosed almost 4 years ago at the age of 8. She has been nothing short of amazing every since her diagnosis. She has the most positive attitude anyone could ever ask for when dealing with this disease. It affects her life every single day but she has adjusted like a pro. I have recruited a couple girlfriends to run with me in Toronto at the Goodlife Marathon Sunday May 6th. Raising money for a cure is the best way we can help Brooke and all the other people dealing with Diabetes. Combined our team will run 126kms (42 kms each). Therefore, i would love to raise $1260.
