Prostate cancer is so prevalent. It is greater than 90 percent curable and yet it is the second leading cause of death for men after lung cancer. Think about that.

There are also a lot of misconceptions about prostate cancer and education is a vital component. Once you are diagnosed there are many choices depending on your individual situation. It is difficult to work your way through the maze. When Al was diagnosed we had to do a lot of research on our own. We are very happy with choices that we made but it was not easy at the time. Much more could be done to make it less confusing for those who are diagnosed.

That is why we are so passionate about raising money to increase awareness and research. Everyone knows someone (and sometimes many someones) who are affected by this disease. Please help us raise the funds.
