Folks, on June 10th, I will be participating in the BIKE to CAP AIDS charity bike-a-thon. I realize I haven't had an opportunity to connect with all of you lately - but I thought asking you for money would be a great way to say hello!

AIDS in Africa is a big problem – perhaps the greatest health crisis in history. Over 160,000 people die of AIDS every month in Africa. But, we don’t need to be overwhelmed and numbed by the statistics. We can make a difference and have a positive impact - which is why I am participating in this bike-a-thon.

For every $200 that is raised by the bike-a-thon, CAP AIDS will provide one bicycle to an HIV/AIDS outreach worker in Africa. With a sustainable and affordable means of transportation, these local heroes can provide HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and support services to 5 times as many people, and have a much bigger impact.
