This Father's Day - Sunday, June 20, 2010 - I will be taking part in the Safeway Father’s Day Walk/Run for prostate cancer.

My father lost his battle to prostate cancer at the young age of 59. On April 12th, it will be 5 years since this world lost the most amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Prostate cancer is the number one cancer threat to Canadian men. One in every seven men will be diagnosed with the disease in his lifetime and this is expected to rise to 1 in 4 within a decade.
