My Little Brother, Joshua, and I have been friends via the Big Brothers program for 1.5 years.
When we first met, Josh was shy and afraid to try new things. I am very proud of Josh for learning how to swim and ice skate in the last few months.
Joshua's mom reports that he is now far more confident, vocal and happy to be confronted with new challenges.
In my case, I no longer see Joshua as just my Little Brother matched from the Big Brothers program, Josh is my brother... period!
Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver matches children like Joshua with positive adult role models. All proceeds from The 2010 Scotiabank Bowl for Big Brothers Classic support our programs and the friendships we create. Give BIG.
