Hello Everyone,

This year, I am challenging myself to take part in a rather “unique” initiative to raise money for a very special charity. I am going to be a “Super Hero” for the Easter Seals Drop Zone. For those of you who are not familiar with this event, on September 9, 2010, I will be rappelling 30 stories….that’s right…..30 stories down the side of the Sun Life Plaza in downtown Calgary!! And yes….I am scared of heights!!!

I know a lot of you may be thinking “Are you out of your mind?!?”. In one word, “Maybe?!?”. But, when I see the types of challenges children with special needs and disabilities face and successfully overcome every day, the ability to raise funds that will go towards helping children here in Alberta is the least I can do. After all, I am facing a “challenge” that will last a mere ½ hour out of my life.
