Welcome to my Team In Training home page!

I am training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada’s Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I’m completing this event in honour of all individuals who are battling blood cancers.

This hits close to home for me as a pediatric nurse at the IWK. I see young children way to often be diagnosed with this terrible disease and see how it affects their health and lives! Also I have many friends & family members who have loved ones that have suffered from this disease

These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

I will be running a 1/2 marathon in Walt Disney World in January. The furthest I've ever run is half that distance so this should be interesting :) I will be doing a ton of fundraising over the next few months to reach my goal of $4200.
